These BLT turkey burgers are the best of both worlds - with the classic flavors of a BLT sandwich combined with a juicy grilled turkey burger. And the best part? They're super easy to make, healthy, and absolutely delicious. Plus, you can always jazz them up with additional toppings like avocado, hot sauce, or cheese. Just imagine serving these at your next grill out or summer party - it's sure to be a hit with everyone.

Ingredients:
1 pound ground turkey
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
4 slices of bacon or turkey bacon
4 slices of tomato
1 cup lettuce (romaine or iceberg)
4 hamburger buns
Mayonnaise
1 ripe avocado
Instructions:
Preheat your grill or stovetop skillet over medium heat.
In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Form the mixture into 4 equal patties.
Cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
In the same skillet or on the grill, cook the turkey patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
During the last minute of cooking, you can toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in the skillet if desired.
Assemble the burgers: Spread mayonnaise on the bottom bun (if using), add the turkey patty, top with bacon, tomato slices, avocado ( optional), and lettuce. Place the top bun on.
Serve with your favorite sides!
Tips:
For added flavor, consider mixing in chopped herbs like parsley or basil into the turkey mixture.
Serve with your favorite side dishes, such as sweet potato fries or a fresh salad.
